Kraken CLI or pybit? Two exchanges, two official developer tools, two different starting points.

Kraken CLI or pybit? Two exchanges, two official developer tools, two different starting points.

Kraken CLI is a single binary for the command line with live and paper trading. It supports macOS and Linux, with Windows through WSL, and its own documentation labels it experimental software that can execute real transactions.

pybit is Bybit's official Python connector for its web request and WebSocket APIs and requires Python 3.10 or higher.

Trade-off: the CLI suits quick commands and scripts without writing a client; pybit suits developers already working in Python.

Neither tool removes market risk. Check availability in your country before connecting a funded account.
