A short guide to pybit, Bybit's official Python connector for its request-based and WebSocket APIs.

The steps shown in the project's documentation:

1. Install it with pip (package name: pybit).

2. Import the session class from the unified_trading module.

3. Create a session with the testnet flag and your API key and secret.

4. Request data, for example the order book of the BTCUSDT perpetual with get_orderbook.

Trade-off: a thin, direct connector, so error handling and risk controls are up to you.

Practical step: use read-only keys and the testnet setting while you build.
