Pakistan said on March 29 that Iran will allow 20 more Pakistani-flagged ships through the Strait of Hormuz, at a rate of two per day, according to reports.

Arrangements like this show how access to the strait is being negotiated flag by flag rather than reopened in full. At two ships a day, the 20 vessels would take about ten days to pass.

The statement came from Pakistan; Iranian confirmation and the exact start date were not included in the report.
